About me and my therapy practice
You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, or noticing patterns in your life or relationships that feel hard to change. You may also feel affected by past experiences in ways that are difficult to fully make sense of.
Hi, I’m Naz — a Â鶹Դ´-accredited Psychotherapist with over 10 years’ experience supporting adults and young people with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow things down, feel heard, and begin to understand what’s been happening for you — at a pace that feels right.
I work with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, grief, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm. I also bring significant experience in trauma-informed work, supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse, sexual abuse, and long-term emotional distress. This means I work in a way that prioritises safety, trust, and emotional regulation.
My approach is warm, empathetic, and grounded. Alongside offering support, I will gently help you reflect on patterns that may be keeping you stuck, so you can begin to move forward in a way that feels meaningful and manageable for you.
Practice description
My approach is integrative, drawing on Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, and Attachment Theory. This means our work together is personalised and shaped around your unique experiences, pace, and what you need from therapy.
The person-centred foundation of my work means I see you as the expert in your own life. My role is to offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly.
I also draw on CBT where helpful, particularly when working with patterns such as overthinking, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm, offering practical ways to better understand and manage these experiences.
Alongside this, I work with an awareness of attachment, helping you explore how past experiences and relationships may be shaping how you feel about yourself and others today.
I work in a trauma-informed way, which means we move at a pace that feels safe for you, focusing on building emotional stability and understanding before exploring anything more difficult.
I aim to offer a space that feels calm, supportive, and collaborative — where you can gain insight, feel more grounded, and begin to make changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation where we can talk about what's brought you to therapy and any questions you might have. This gives you the opportunity to see if I feel like the right fit for you.
If we decide to work together, our first session will be a gentle assessment where we explore your current difficulties, what you would like support with, and what you hope to gain from therapy.
I understand that starting therapy can feel like a big step, so I aim to make this process feel as comfortable and supportive as possible.
Sessions are 50 minutes and are charged at £80.
