I am available from 3:30pm and can offer on line but would like and initial face to face meeting.

I would suggest a minimum or 6 sessions to be able to develop the client/counsellor relationship.

I am a qualified Counsellor based in Shere, near Guildford, and by working from home, I can provide a quiet, safe space, to respectfully listen and help you to 'just talk'. By offering empathy and acceptance without judgement, together we can explore and understand life's difficulties that may be too overwhelming to deal with alone.

As a Humanistic Counsellor, I offer a non directive approach, with the belief that the relationship I develop with my client, is the core to the therapeutic healing. By working with CBT, Gestalt and Existential therapy I can help you to experience greater self awareness and deeper understanding of your feelings, enlightening the opportunity for personal growth.

Alongside my private practice I have worked as a volunteer Counsellor for AgeUK and Parent Time. Parent Time is space for parents to talk through their anxieties and concerns of parenting.

I  work in the school setting providing a nurturing provision including drawing and talking therapy, sand and water play and other sensory activities such as clay modelling and home baking for primary aged (4-11) children needing extra support from difficult home lives.

In my private practice I can offer support for parents, either with their child or without to help facilitate the relationship between child and parent/guardian.

My counselling room is set overlooking my garden and has a separate entrance from the main house. There is parking in the main carpark in the village of where I may be found, within a few minutes walk from the car park. There is usually road side parking available too outside my property.

The initial meeting of 45 minutes is free to help you get a feel for me and to see if I am able to help you, after which I will send to you a simple contract to be returned on your first session. 

My first session is complimentary for 45 minutes. 

I can provide a discount for trainee counsellors: £50 for 1 hour.

Parents discussing their children, either with or without their children being present,  I can offer at a rate of £45 for 45 minutes.
