About me and my therapy practice
I offer a safe space:
- To be understood, heard and comforted. Often, it is only when we are understood by another that we can understand ourselves.
- A place to bring unmanageable feelings and explore aspects of yourself.
- A sense of release in saying out loud what has been left unsaid.
- To make sense of your past, your feelings and to understand the part you play in your life.
- Insight and understanding so you can make decisions in your life that will work out better for you.
- Consistency and continuity. Someone who is there for you at an agreed time, in the same place, every week. This is a safe space you can rely on.
I have 25 years of counselling and psychotherapy experience in working with:
- Anxiety and depression
- Loneliness and loss.
- Family dynamics.
- Relationship issues and break-ups.
- Sexuality.
- Trauma and abuse.
- Narcissistic relationships, from parents to partners.
- I also work with the 鈥渆verything is alright but something feels wrong鈥 syndrome.
Practice description
I am a registered accredited member of The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy with over 25 years鈥 experience of counselling and psychotherapy. I am experienced at working with feelings of anger, anxiety, depression, loneliness and loss. I also work with the 鈥渆verything is alright but something feels wrong鈥 syndrome. I trained and worked in London for 18 years before moving to live and work in Norwich.
My first session
My job during the first session is to find out:

How do you hope therapy can help?
Why now?
All you need to do is show up. The session lasts for 50 minutes.
