About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I am a fully qualified and experienced Therapeutic Counsellor, practising Person-Centered Therapy in Bolton and Bury.
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, filled with worries, challenges and stress. You might be experiencing low mood, struggling with confidence, or finding it hard to understand why you’re feeling the way you do. At times, this can leave life feeling unsatisfying or even exhausting. I want you to know that you don’t have to face this alone. I truly understand how heavy these feelings can be, and with my training, skills and gentle approach, I can support you in moving towards a lighter, more manageable and fulfilling future.
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting. Change often does, it can seem scary, uncertain, or even like another burden on top of everything else. But simply by reading this and considering counselling, you’ve already begun that first important step. It shows courage, and I would be honoured to work with you as you continue your journey towards feeling more content, confident and at ease.
You may be wondering what counselling is really like, and how it differs from talking with friends or family. As a Person-Centered Counsellor, I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and freely. My role isn’t to give advice or tell you what to do, instead, I will listen with empathy, support you in exploring the issues that matter to you, and help you discover your own inner resources for change. Together, with trust and mutual respect, we can create the conditions for growth, healing and self-discovery.
