About me and my therapy practice
I am a Â鶹Դ´ Accredited Counsellor with over 10 years experience, working with individuals, couples and young people in person and online. I am recognised by most private health insurers.
I have a BA (Hons) degree in Integrative-Relational Counselling from Middlesex University and a Level 5 qualification in Counselling Children and Young People.
I work with a range of issues including:
- panic and anxiety
- depression and low mood
- grief, loss and bereavement
- relationship difficulties
- managing stress
- confidence and self esteem
- school and exam pressure
Part of being human is that we all experience difficulties and challenges in our life. When life is hard it can feel really difficult to cope alone and we all need someone we can trust to talk to. I recognise that talking to someone new can often feel scary. I provide a safe and nurturing space where you can explore and express your feelings, concerns and worries. I will support and encourage you in a non-judgemental environment where you can work towards overcoming your difficulties.
My counselling approach allows me to build on theoretical elements from a range of counselling theories, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I look to provide the most appropriate approach to encourage you to overcome the difficulties you are facing.
I work with clients both short and long term on a wide range of mental health issues big and small. If you think you could benefit from talking things through with an experienced professional, please contact me knowing it is in full confidence.

My first session
Our first session will be an assessment session which lasts for 50 minutes and is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to get a feel of how I work.
During the first session we begin to explore what brings you to counselling. I will ask questions and we will talk about the challenges you are facing, your goals for therapy, and any relevant personal history.
If we agree to work together, we can discuss the next steps and how therapy can support you moving forward.
