About me and my therapy practice
I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from psychodynamic, humanistic, trauma-informed, and somatic perspectives. I believe everyone has an inherent capacity for growth, healing, and self-understanding, even in times of pain or uncertainty. My aim is to offer a warm, compassionate space where you can explore your experiences safely and at your own pace.
Many people come to therapy because past or ongoing experiences — including stress, loss, or childhood adversity — have affected how they feel, relate, or cope day to day. I work with a trauma-informed awareness, helping you recognise how these experiences may shape your emotions, body responses, and relationships, and supporting you to regain a sense of stability and strength.
Alongside talking therapy, I integrate body-based approaches to support deeper healing when words aren’t enough. As a qualified Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner and Bodynamic Foundation Training graduate, I use gentle, body-aware methods that help release held tension, calm the nervous system, and restore a sense of balance and connection.
Practice description
I offer individual therapy for adults both online and in person in London. I work with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. Sessions last 50 minutes for individuals and 75 minutes for couples, and usually take place weekly at the outset. I also provide trauma-focused and somatic therapy for those recovering from overwhelming experiences or early-life adversity.
My first session
I offer a free initial telephone or Zoom consultation of approximately 30 minutes for those considering therapy with me. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions, get a sense of how I work, and decide whether I might be the right therapist for you.
During this conversation, I may also invite you to share a little about your background and what you hope to gain from therapy.
