Support for Children & Young People
My sessions offer a safe, supportive space for children and teens to explore their emotions, make sense of current challenges, and learn practical tools to express their needs and manage distress in healthier ways.
Parent–Child Sessions
These collaborative sessions provide an opportunity for families to share thoughts and feelings openly, while engaging in activities that build connection, mutual understanding, and respect.

I help parents gain insight into their child’s emotional world and behaviour. You’ll learn simple, effective strategies to de-escalate emotional storms, respond with confidence, and enjoy a more peaceful, connected family life.

Teen coaching focuses on setting and working toward personal goals, while helping young people discover and apply their unique strengths and potential.

Practice description
We’ll begin with a free 20-minute exploratory conversation to discuss your concerns, answer any questions, and see if we’re a good fit to work together.
If we decide to move forward, we may start with a comprehensive parent assessment, especially if your child is younger. This session helps us explore your child’s history, current challenges, family dynamics, and goals for support.
From there, we’ll create a tailored plan that may include a set number of child, teen, or parent sessions.
Session with younger children include a quaterly parent review to reflect on progress and plan any next steps
This structured, age-appropriate approach ensures that the support is personalised, goal-focused, and responsive to your family’s unique needs.
My first session
The first session is usually a parent assessment, particularly if your child is younger. This session allows us to explore your child’s background, current challenges, family dynamics, and your goals for support.
The first session with your child will include:
- A visual contract explaining how online sessions work
- An overview of the types of concerns we can address
- An interactive activity to help your child feel comfortable and begin exploring their strengths and challenges
For Teen Life Coaching, the first session will include:
- A Life Satisfaction Survey to identify key areas of concern
- Collaborative goal-setting for what we’ll focus on in future sessions
- Identification of the first action step to complete before the next session
