About me and my therapy practice
I鈥檓 a counsellor and coach who offers a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where you can explore what鈥檚 going on beneath the surface and begin to move forward with clarity and confidence. I believe that healing and growth happen when we feel genuinely seen and heard, so my first priority is to build a relationship based on trust, safety and respect.
I work integratively, blending counselling and coaching in a way that鈥檚 tailored to each individual. For some, that might mean space to process emotions, trauma, or relationships in a therapeutic way. For others, it may involve more structured support, practical strategies, and goal-setting. Many clients benefit from a mix therapy to understand and heal the past and coaching to build the future they want.
This blended approach can be especially powerful. It allows us to explore patterns and emotional blocks while also focusing on progress, confidence and self-leadership. Whether you鈥檙e working through anxiety, burnout, identity issues, self-esteem, or feeling stuck in life, we鈥檒l work together to understand your experience and create a plan that works for you.
Every person is different, and I adapt my approach to meet your unique needs. My practice is neurodiversity-affirming and inclusive, with a particular interest in supporting women and those who feel they experience the world a little differently.
I offer both online and in-person sessions for individuals aged 16 and over. My aim is not to 鈥渇ix鈥 you but to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your strengths, gain new insights, and begin to feel more like yourself again.
Practice description
Sessions are available online and through 鈥渨alk and talk鈥 therapy in nature. 鈥淲alk and talk鈥 sessions can be a powerful alternative to sitting in a traditional setting. Moving side by side in a natural environment can feel less intense, help reduce anxiety, and encourage a greater sense of freedom and clarity. Being outdoors often helps people open up more easily and connect with their thoughts in a different way.
My first session
The first session is a gentle starting point where we get to know each other and begin to explore what you鈥檇 like support with. It鈥檚 an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what鈥檚 on your mind and get a feel for how I work there鈥檚 no pressure to go too deep too quickly. I鈥檒l also ask a few questions to help me understand your story, your current challenges and what you hope to gain from our work together.
This session lasts 50 minutes and is charged at a standard rate. I don鈥檛 offer a reduced rate for the first session, but there鈥檚 no commitment to continue beyond this point unless you feel it鈥檚 the right fit for you.
Before we meet, I鈥檒l send you a short client agreement and a few simple questions to complete at your own pace. These help guide our first conversation and make sure you feel safe and supported from the beginning.
You can choose to have this first session online or as a walk-and-talk session in nature (location details provided upon booking). If you鈥檙e unsure which is best for you, I鈥檓 happy to talk through the options.
The first session is also about making sure the space feels right for you. You鈥檙e welcome to take your time after we meet before deciding whether to continue.
If we agree to move forward, we鈥檒l talk about what ongoing support might look like weekly, fortnightly, or flexible sessions depending on your needs.
