I am passionate about working with difference and diversity, particularly clients who identify GSRD (Gender, Sex and Relationship Diverse) including clients who identify as neurodivergent.

I have also worked in a range of counselling settings including public services wellbeing/mental health, co-facilitating and clinical supervision in an educational setting.

I am a member of The Person Centred Association.

Counselling Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Counselling Research at the University of East Anglia in 2012,  Person-Centred Diploma in 2011 at UCS,  Post-Graduate Certificate in Supervision in 2015 at Counselling Xtra, Â鶹ԭ´´ Endorsed.  I completed my Â鶹ԭ´´ Accreditation in 2017.

Practice description

I offer a warm, gentle and understanding space, where I will hold you at the centre of my attention to deeply listen and hear what you are currently experiencing and feeling.

At your pace, I will support you with exploring your feelings and emotions to a greater depth, where my aim is for you to feel safe and held within the therapeutic relationship.

From this trusting base, my hope is for you to find a deeper understanding and greater clarity of your experiences or challenges. This can then lead to new personal insights, looking at how to take control, make decisions and move with your current situation.

From my experience, I believe that when judgement is removed we can feel safer to be our true selves, where we no longer need to mask or hide who we are because of the fear of others perceived conditions or judgements.

I believe an accepting and unconditional space is essential for people to be able to grow and reach their potential freely. We are all persons of worth.

Please feel free to contact me to arrange an initial exploratory session where we can look at what is bringing you to therapy at this moment in time. This exploratory fee is £40 for 50 minutes.
