About me and my therapy practice

Supervision for the whole therapist: clinical depth, ethical clarity and practical support for building a sustainable private practice.

I offer online supervision across the UK to trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists working with adults. You do not need to arrive with everything neatly worked out. You can bring the client who stays in your mind, the ethical question you keep circling, the moment you felt stuck or the private-practice challenge nobody prepared you for.

My approach is warm, collaborative and actively engaged. I think alongside you, ask useful questions, offer thoughtful challenge and share relevant aspects of my own experience when this genuinely serves you and the work.

Online does not have to mean distant. I aim to create a relationship in which you can think honestly, acknowledge uncertainty and bring the parts of your work that feel difficult or unfinished, without feeling that you must perform competence.

I take client welfare, safeguarding and professional accountability seriously. When something important needs to be named, I will do so with honesty, care and respect.

I am a 麻豆原创-registered integrative psychotherapist and GHR-registered clinical hypnotherapist. I hold a PGDip in Integrative Psychotherapy, an MSc in Health Psychology and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, with more than nine years of experience across private practice, NHS inpatient services, community mental health, crisis and residential work and education.

My clinical work is relational, attachment-focused and trauma-informed, drawing on parts-informed, inner-child and reparenting work, somatic and nervous-system understanding and hypnotherapy where appropriate.

Practice description

Supervision is not only a place to report on cases. It is a space to think about the clinical work, your responses to it and the professional context around it.

Together, we may explore:

  • client work, formulation and therapeutic direction
  • attachment, relational dynamics and therapeutic ruptures
  • risk, safeguarding, boundaries and ethical decisions
  • self-doubt, emotional activation, over-responsibility and burnout

We can also pay attention to what the work is awakening in you. Sometimes the most important question is not only, 鈥淲hat is happening with this client?鈥 but also, 鈥淲hat is this work awakening in me?鈥 These experiences can be explored openly and without shame.

I particularly enjoy supporting integrative practitioners working with relational and developmental trauma, attachment difficulties, anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, low self-worth, identity and complex relationship patterns.

I can support you in incorporating relational, attachment-based, parts-informed, inner-child, somatic, nervous-system and hypnotherapy-informed approaches coherently and within your competence and scope of practice.

Where relevant, we can also consider fees, boundaries, policies, workload, client communication, positioning and ethical marketing. This remains grounded in clinical supervision and supports a practice that is both clinically responsible and personally sustainable.

My first session

Our first online session is an opportunity to understand how each of us works and whether we are a good supervisory fit.

We will discuss:

  • your training, experience and therapeutic approach
  • your work setting, client group and caseload
  • any relevant course or placement requirements
  • your previous experiences of supervision and what you need from our work
  • what helps you feel safe enough to think openly, disagree, ask questions and bring uncertain material

You are welcome to ask me direct questions. Fit is mutual, and neither of us needs to force the relationship if it does not feel right.

If we decide to continue, we will agree a clear online supervision contract covering frequency, fees, confidentiality, professional responsibilities, record keeping, communication and responses to risk or urgent concerns.

We will review our work regularly to ensure that supervision continues to support your clients, professional development and wellbeing.

Therapist - Leeds

Leeds LS1
07849 580021
Sessions from £100.00

Features

Availability

I am currently accepting new adult clients for online therapy, with daytime appointments available during the week.

From September 2026, I will also offer a limited number of face-to-face appointments on Wednesdays at Evolve Counselling & Therapy Centre in central Leeds.

I offer 50-minute and 75-minute sessions. Please contact me to ask about current appointment times or to arrange a complimentary 15鈥20 minute clarity call.

About me and my therapy practice

I work integratively, which means I tailor therapy to you rather than expecting you to fit one fixed model. I see you as a whole person and consider how your thoughts, emotions, body, relationships and life experiences may be connected.

My approach draws on relational, humanistic and attachment-based psychotherapy, trauma-informed practice, inner child and reparenting work, parts-informed exploration, nervous-system regulation and clinical hypnotherapy. The therapeutic relationship is central to my work. Together, we create enough safety and trust to explore not only what has happened to you, but how earlier experiences may continue to shape the way you relate to yourself and others.

Some sessions may be reflective and exploratory. At other times, with your agreement, we may work more experientially. This might involve noticing emotions and physical responses as they arise, using imagery, connecting with different parts of yourself or practising new ways of expressing a need or boundary. This can help move the work beyond intellectually understanding a pattern towards experiencing something different.

Clinical hypnotherapy may also be integrated into our work when appropriate. It is always optional, collaborative and discussed with you beforehand.

I will not rush you into revisiting painful experiences. We work at a pace that supports relational safety, emotional regulation and meaningful, lasting change.

Practice description

I work with adults of all genders and specialise in supporting high-functioning women who may appear capable, successful and dependable on the outside, yet feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves or caught in patterns they cannot seem to change.

You may be used to being the strong one: overthinking, overachieving, people-pleasing, taking responsibility for others or finding it difficult to rest, receive support and express what you need. I also work with perfectionism, low self-worth, attachment difficulties, challenging relationship patterns and the lasting impact of childhood or relational trauma.

I offer a warm, thoughtful and collaborative space where you can slow down, understand yourself more deeply and begin creating change that is not only intellectual, but felt in your emotions, body and relationships. You will not be expected to disclose everything immediately or revisit painful experiences before you feel ready. We will agree the focus together and regularly review how the work is developing.

Therapy may be short-term, time-limited or longer-term. Sessions are available online or face-to-face in Leeds city centre and last 50 minutes (拢100) or 75 minutes (拢140). I also offer a free introductory call if you would like to explore whether we may be a good fit.

Details of how I handle personal information are available in the privacy notice on my website.

My first session

Before booking a full therapy session, I offer a complimentary 15鈥20 minute clarity call. This is not therapy or a formal assessment. It is an opportunity for you to tell me briefly what you are looking for, ask questions about how I work and consider whether we may be a good fit.

If you decide to continue, your first therapy session will be either 50 minutes (拢100) or 75 minutes (拢140), charged at my standard rate. We will explore what has brought you to therapy, what you would like to understand or change, relevant parts of your history and any current support or safety needs. You do not need to tell me everything or have a perfectly clear goal.

I will also explain confidentiality, boundaries, cancellations and how we can review our work together. You will have space to ask questions and decide whether you feel comfortable continuing. Before the session, I will send you my working agreement and privacy information to read.
