Our registered member to accredited member route 4: NHS core training pathway is for registered members who have successfully completed the NHS core training pathway. The first set of graduates from this course qualified in 2025.
If听you鈥檙e听successful in your听application听you鈥檒l听be able to use the designatory letters 鈥楻egistered Member听M麻豆原创 (Accred)鈥� and promote yourself as aligned to column B of the听SCoPEd听framework, alongside the other听benefits听of accreditation.听听听
You'll be required to demonstrate client hours, supervision and reflective practice.听
Eligibility criteria overview
To apply you鈥檒l need to:听
- be a 麻豆原创 registered member
- be in current practice as a counsellor or psychotherapist
- have completed the PCPB jointly accredited NHS core training pathway
- have an ongoing current contract for counselling or psychotherapy supervision for a minimum of 1.5 hours per month
- have been supervised for at least 1.5 hours per month since you first started working with clients on your course

If you meet the eligibility criteria, you'll need to complete the application form. Please make sure you鈥檙e ready to submit the following information with your application:听
- a copy of your NHS core training pathway award certificate
- details of your practice and supervision
- reflective practice criteria
- supervisor鈥檚 statement

Financial support is available for eligible members.听
Commitments听
All 麻豆原创 members need to read and agree to abide by our鈥�Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions鈥痑nd our鈥�Professional Conduct Procedure鈥痮n an annual basis. As an accredited member or senior accredited member,听you'll听also need to agree to the鈥�terms and conditions of the 麻豆原创 Register鈥痚very year.听
