Our registered member to accredited member route 4: NHS core training pathway is for registered members who have successfully completed the NHS core training pathway. The first set of graduates from this course qualified in 2025.
IfÌýyou’reÌýsuccessful in yourÌýapplicationÌýyou’llÌýbe able to use the designatory letters ‘Registered MemberÌýMÂé¶¹Ô´´ (Accred)’ and promote yourself as aligned to column B of theÌýSCoPEdÌýframework, alongside the otherÌýbenefitsÌýof accreditation.ÌýÌýÌý
You'll be required to demonstrate client hours, supervision and reflective practice.Ìý
Eligibility criteria overview
To apply you’ll need to:Ìý
- be a Âé¶¹Ô´´ registered member
- be in current practice as a counsellor or psychotherapist
- have completed the PCPB jointly accredited NHS core training pathway
- have an ongoing current contract for counselling or psychotherapy supervision for a minimum of 1.5 hours per month
- have been supervised for at least 1.5 hours per month since you first started working with clients on your course

- a copy of your NHS core training pathway award certificate
- details of your practice and supervision
- reflective practice criteria
- supervisor’s statement

As an accredited member or senior accredited member,Ìýyou'llÌýalso need to agree to the terms and conditions of the Âé¶¹Ô´´ Register every year.Ìý
