Exploring the lived experience of therapists who work with clients living with chronic non-malignant pain

My research study explores the lived experience of therapists who work with clients living with chronic non-malignant pain.

Despite the prevalence of chronic pain in the UK, there is still limited qualitative research into how therapists make sense of this work, how they feel impacted by it, and what therapeutic processes they consider most helpful.

This research aims to give voice to therapists’ experiences and contribute to a deeper clinical understanding of this important area.

Participation involves a single online interview lasting approximately one hour, where therapists are invited to reflect on their experience.

Eligible participants must be Â鶹ԭ´´- or UKCP-registered therapists practicing in the UK who have worked with at least one client living with chronic pain.

This research project has received full ethical approval from the Minster Centre Ethics Committee. Please see here for more information.

Thank you for your time and consideration
