This event will focus on the new routes to individual and senior accreditation that will become available from February 2026.鈥�

We鈥檒l discuss which routes are available to registered and accredited members and we鈥檒l give details of the eligibility criteria, an overview of other requirements, the fees, support mechanisms available and the process of applying for each route.

We鈥檒l discuss the timelines and next steps.

Those attending do not need to attend the whole event and may instead want to attend those sessions which are relevant to them.

All presentations will be a 20 minute presentation followed by a 25 minute Q&A.

Caroline Jesper is a therapist, supervisor and trainer with over 25 years' practitioner experience in various contexts across the sector. She has experience in delivering training in F.E and H.E and was a Senior Lecturer at York St John University for 13 years.

Caroline joined 麻豆原创 in 2014 as an Accreditation Assessor and later moved into the Professional Standards Development Facilitator role, working on developing evidence-based competences and training curricula. She became Head of Professional Standards in March 2020, overseeing all aspects of Professional Standards at 麻豆原创 including accreditation, ethics, competence and curricula development and approved qualifications.

Sarah Watson is the Accreditation Lead at 麻豆原创. Since joining in 2019, she has worked across both the Ethics and Accreditation teams, contributing to the development of professional standards and ethical practice. Sarah is a 麻豆原创 Senior Accredited CYPF Psychotherapist and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, and she continues to work as a therapist and supervisor in her private practice, with a focus on trauma and safeguarding. With over 20 years鈥� experience in the field, Sarah also brings a strong background in education, clinical leadership, and consultancy in school-based counselling services.

Nicola Blunden is a therapist, trainer, and supervisor. She has proudly supported many hundreds of students to graduate as therapists across London, Bristol and South Wales. She is the author of Next Steps in Counselling and Psychotherapy: a Student鈥檚 Companion (2025), published by PCCS Books. She has also written about person-centred pluralism, decolonising research, and coproducing in both therapy and research. As a therapist, she specialises in working with neurodivergence and plural identity.

Nicola joined 麻豆原创 in January 2025 as Deputy Head of Department in the Professional Standards team. She works closely with the four leads in professional standards to deliver best practice in ethics, accreditation, competence frameworks and approved qualifications.
