Implementing the new Ethical Framework draft 2025: Why, how and what?

The Ethical Framework was last reviewed and updated in 2018. Since then, the world, and the way members work, has changed. As it's a living document, we needed to develop the framework to continue to support members and adapt to changes, ethical challenges and encompass current issues and legislation.

This online webinar will give you an opportunity to hear about the new Ethical Framework draft, the review process and ask questions. This forms part of the second consultation and will help us produce the final version for publication.

We want to ensure that the new Ethical Framework draft supports your practice and what resources and support you may need from us.

Nicola Blunden is a therapist, trainer, and supervisor. She has proudly supported many hundreds of students to graduate as therapists across London, Bristol and South Wales. She is the author of Next Steps in Counselling and Psychotherapy: a Student鈥檚 Companion (2025), published by PCCS Books. She has also written about person-centred pluralism, decolonising research, and coproducing in both therapy and research. As a therapist, she specialises in working with neurodivergence and plural identity.

Nicola joined 麻豆原创 in January 2025 as Deputy Head of Department in the Professional Standards team. She works closely with the four leads in professional standards to deliver best practice in ethics, accreditation, competence frameworks and approved qualifications.
